A Powerplay pertains to cricket rule restrictions that state where fielders can stand outside the 30-yard circle area during particular timed cricket matches. The Powerplay applies to restricted overs matches in ODIs and T20s as the primary form.
    Why Powerplay Matters:
Batters achieve better results during powerplay periods because boundary fielders receive certain limitations that create quick scoring potential.
The two primary goals of Powerplay bowlers consist of ousting the first batsmen through wickets while controlling scoring momentum by batters.

    In ODIs (50 Overs):
    Powerplay 1 (Overs 1–10):
Only 2 fielders outside the 30-yard circle.

    Powerplay 2 (Overs 11–40):
Up to 4 fielders outside the circle.

    Powerplay 3 (Overs 41–50):
A maximum of 5 fielders outside the circle
